1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BudgetWiseTools (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to every visitor, whether you create an account in the future or simply read a page.

2. Educational Use — Not Financial Advice

The calculators, guides, and articles on this Site are intended solely as educational reference material. They are not financial, tax, legal, investment, or insurance advice, and nothing on the Site should be treated as a recommendation to take or refrain from any specific financial action.

4. Your Data Stays With You

Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser; we do not transmit or store the numbers you type. When you choose to save a calculation, it is saved to your own browser's local storage, on your device.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or breach security or authentication measures.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest content in ways that materially burden our infrastructure.
• Misrepresent the Site or its content as your own, or frame the Site within another site in a way that implies affiliation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, calculators, code, graphics, and logos — is the property of BudgetWiseTools or its contributors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, print, and share links to pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction or distribution requires prior written permission.

7. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to government agencies, non-profits, and other third-party resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties
